The gauntlets of the rune might be beautiful however, there's a cost of recharge if you die. If you choose to have to pk, which is the only use of them for F2P, you're likely to die and that's quite a pain. Even the range reward of green'd'hide coif has a finite number of recharges. Because Mage's rewards are so great even when they aren't charged, it is the only worthwhile class. I think that the charges should either be longer-lasting, or completely removed and just increase the cost of the initial purchase. It is a hassle to have to go back to get tokens and then pay Reggie to recharge each 5-6 hours. How are you feeling?
It was an absolute disappointment. I was hoping for these events to be a revolution for events, and once again, a loosening of Jagex's rules about how events are run. I expected these items to permit Forge-level customization, including dialog boxes and configurable configurations that can be saved. It's an application. Okay, so that's what I expected. While some might have issues with the release to the RS community, I was hoping for to make it more robust.
What did I receive? Some extremely limited set of cool-looking-but-useless tools that don't really work. Although I see the potential for some, there is no way to combine these tools and there are fundamental rules that they don't adhere to. For instance, hide-and-seek. It's a good idea. Are you looking to figure the root of the problem?
You must all be in the same clan channel. The rings for seekers work, but they're useless. They only buzz and do not give any indications regarding how close you are to one another (or else I wouldn't be able make it work). The problem is that every person within your channel will appear purple in the map. If you're buzzing enough you're already on it.
That means that you can't tag someone. I think the best tag for an individual is a carrot or rubber chicken however, even that does not have the clan function. Is there any game you could play that cannot tag?
