Let's begin with what blockchain nodes are. These are computers that save a duplicate of the whole block chain and participate in the verification of transactions. This makes the device decentralized and more secure. Ideally if you have your own node, you may make sure that your transactions are proven independently, without intermediaries. There are exclusive types of nodes. Full nodes, as an instance at https://getblock.io/nodes/sui/ , save the entire records of the blockchain. Running a complete node is a large step, but it's going to give you complete manage and independence.
