Fleas make the animals suffer with their biting. Fleas also bring infections and tape worms, a parasite. People, who want to get rid of fleas, want to have some kind of bombardment on them. If this was an opinion it would be the best way to get fleas away from their houses, pets and yards. There is a much better alternative available for these fleas.
Flea spray is one of the best treatments against fleas. Fleas are used to have their homes on warm blooded animal's body, under their carpets or even in their bed sheets. So it is very important to clean these specific areas regularly.
Fleas increases in numbers rapidly. Even a single flea can lay up to 500 eggs at a time! Pupils can stay inactive until stimulation. A flea's egg life is about 5 to 14 days before it gets matured. So you should select such a flea spray which is effective not only on mature fleas but also eggs and larvae, and persist to work for a long time span.
It does not matter that which spray you use. The key to using a spray is to use it according to manufacturer's description. Make sure that you are not using sprays excessively and also consult your pet's veterinarian before using any type of medicine.
Before using flea spray, vacuum carefully, and use some flea powder to your vacuum bag otherwise fleas will remain in it and can originate more trouble. Also vacuum the furniture and cracks thoroughly. Pet's bedding should be washed in hot water on regular basis.
There is a simple method to keep fleas away from your pet. Just use a flea comb. Remove the killed fleas by sinking the pets in the water or some other means. Be careful in treatment. Always use these sprays on mature pets. Do not use them on puppies or kittens.
