While I'm sure to squander off hours playing Falador and Draynor but the tranquility of my mind is well worth it ]. The RuneScape goblins who are engulfed by the enchantment of fire created by Zamorak at the moment, could be giggling at how simple it is to earn the cape that makes fire, or wondering why, after 15 years, this isn't the first cape that I've earned in my career.

When I finally received my first cape of skill after the past decade and a half along with my brother and my friend, I was beaming. There's something deeply emotional when you play old games like this. Sometimes, it's a feeling of frustration that you don't have the same perspective as your childhood self. Sometimes, it's a profound emotional recognition of how a name shaped your childhood.

Sometimes, it takes you back to a time when you were a much less skilled player, and demonstrates the progress you've made in your life. In the case of RuneScape the experience was little part from all three. My younger self would look at me today, he'd be amazed. Even grotworms cannot take my shine.

The long-running and popular online role-play video game series RuneScape will be coming to tabletop gaming with two new games that will be launched later this year. The developer of video games and the publisher of RuneScape, Jagex, has joined forces with the tabletop gaming powerhouse Steamforged Games to create both games for the tabletop and a board role-playing game book that is that is inspired by the rich fantasy realm of Gielinor.
