Are there any major projects that invest in cryptocurrencies?

Sure, I've heard of crypto a billion times, but it's all mostly some trivial stuff. The only big thing I've heard about it is that the president of El Salvador(or is it not El Salvador??) invested part of his state's budget in cryptocurrency.
