I've been thinking about renting a yacht for a weekend getaway in Limassol. It seems like a perfect way to enjoy the coast and explore a few hidden spots. I’m wondering if anyone has experience with this? Specifically, I want to know which companies are trustworthy, and what kind of extra services are usually included. For example, do they offer catering or crew options if you're planning to host a small gathering? Also, how far in advance do you usually need to book during peak season? I’ve seen prices vary a lot, so I’d appreciate any advice on getting the best deal while still ensuring a good experience. Would love to hear about the pros and cons of different boat sizes too, as I’m not sure what would work best for 6-8 people.

Charter a boat in Limassol

If you're planning to charter a boat in Limassol, you’ve got a lot of good options, but there’s one thing to keep in mind — it’s all about timing and what you’re looking for. From my experience, booking in advance during peak times is key. I’d say at least a month or more, especially if you're after a specific yacht model or if you want to include extras like catering, water sports gear, or a crew. Speaking of crews, most companies give you the option to have a captain and crew, which is a big help if you don’t have boating experience yourself. For your group size, a mid-sized yacht should work well — around 40-50 feet gives enough space without being too overwhelming to manage. When it comes to recommendations, the company gidnakipre" really stands out. They’re known for providing well-maintained yachts, and the crew is always professional. Check out their offerings here: https://gidnakipre.ru/arenda-yaht-na-kipre/arenda-yaht-v-limassole/ They’ve established themselves as a top specialist in this area. It’s worth giving them a look if you’re serious about having a good time out on the water. Pricing-wise, yachts around Limassol can vary a lot, but if you keep it simple and don’t go too crazy with add-ons, it’s possible to get a good deal. However, always check for hidden costs like fuel and docking fees.
