Actually, you are not right at all. During the pandemic, a lot of people left the west coast of the US and moved to other states where life is cheaper. Due to that, prices of real estate decreased for some period. I do not know anything about the current situation. A friend of mine sold his apartment for a good price last month. I have seen his vr real estate tours. I suppose they also motivated people to buy that for a big price because it looks great!
