Jewelry trends for 2022

Anyone else bored with the delicate gold jewelry a la Mejuri style from the past few years? After nearly a year in loungewear and yoga pants, I find myself gravitating towards maximalism after an entire year in loungewear.

Lately I’ve been on an absolute accessory spree as 2020 was the year I got comfortable with my heavier (thanks quarantine) body and figured out which silhouettes and colors fit me best. My style is simple, well-tailored, and mostly neutral.

Except, in the last 10 days I’ve picked up quite a few vintage costume jewelry pieces from Lanvin, Valentino, and Givenchy. However, they’re all massive by today’s ethereal standards and I can’t help but wonder if it’s just me or if accessories are trending towards over the top. So, any thoughts/predictions?
