Players lack a wide range of body types, at least in each class. The Brute fits the job of one of Diablo 4's five classes impeccably with its meat and strength. Even though the Sorcerer/Sorceress class appears to be able to carry books and wands, they lack the Rogue's athleticism and leanness.

The body type is tied to class roles and a part of the game's fantasies, according to Rod Fergusson, executive producer and head of the Diablo series at Blizzard Entertainment.

"Body type is something that we believe to be an element of the class's fantasy," Fergusson stated in a roundtable interview. He asserted that the game's developers wanted to create an "emaciated Necromancer and a 'dad bod' Druid." Because those traits are what make the class what it is in some ways, having a dad-bod Necro or an emaciated Druid did not really fit into the class's fantasy.

"We attempted to give however many decisions as could be expected under the circumstances concerning nationality, hair, markings, and eye tone, yet there were a few things that made the class exceptional, and body type was something or other in Diablo 4." "Body kind and class archetypes are also a part of the design of armor and gear in Diablo 4 and other features that go into the game's overall look," Fergusson claims.
