What is the best solution to keep the forum stable and secure?

Hi everyone,
While participating in the forum, I noticed that the system is slow or there is are error login information. I am comfortable; the Incredibox problem of hosting, security, or increased traffic.
In your experience, what is the most effective way to:
Keep the forum stable when traffic increases.
Strengthen security to avoid spam and automated attacks.
Maintain a smooth experience for long-term users.
