This is a progressive bankroll management system, which is a milder type of catch. In fact, this is an analogue of the strategy of a series of numbers, with the only difference being that in the Frank Belanger system No. 8, after a series of unsuccessful bets, the winning bet wins out two losses, not one.
According to this strategy, the goal of the game is to set a goal - the profit we want to get. After that, we determine the size of the bet, depending on the goal. If the first bet loses, the second one must be bet as much as is required to wager the lost funds and receive the planned profit. When losing two or more bets, the goal is to return the money lost in the previous two steps.
The advantage of this approach is the ability to block two losing bets on one winning one. It turns out that when playing on odds in the region of 2.00, it is enough to win about 40% of bets to be in the black. To calculate the size of the bet, use the formula:
S = C / (K - 1), where S is the bet amount, C is the goal, K is the outcome ratio.
