Do you need a “classic” online store?

Many online stores provide the ability to pick up and pay for delivery. For the future owner of the online store, it is not terminology that is important, but an understanding of a simple fact: most of the subtleties when creating an online store that you do not understand will simply cost you several times more and will be correctly done from the second or third time.
The first question that you must answer yourself is whether you really need a “classic” online store, i.e. working according to the scheme:
the visitor selects the product on the site and puts it in the basket;
selects a delivery method;
selects a payment method (or pays online);
after a while he receives his goods.
In what cases will this circuit obviously work poorly? Check your niche right away to see if it falls under the following criteria.
Expensive goods. It practically does not matter what kind of product it is. The more expensive it is, the less likely is a full sale via the Internet. Auto parts are easier to sell in an online store than cars. Most automakers' websites simply present the product, and it is already sold in the salon.
Few goods and unit orders. Online stores have a catalog structure, and it makes no sense to use solutions for online stores, if there are two dozen products. In this case, it is good enough to present the goods and to simplify communication with the seller and the order as much as possible.
Payment for goods does not pass on the site through electronic payment systems. This is not a critical point, but the question “Does the payment stage be done?” Immediately pops up. with the options "Do not do", "He already is, then it will be necessary to remove it", "Do for later, but hide now." As a private option of offline payment - all customers pay strictly on bank accounts if there is an agreement. Here, either complicate everything (form an agreement and an account online), or simplify (receive an order and customer contacts).
