Pardon us Authentic Andrew Luck Jersey , but there's no deflating the focus whenever Andrew Luck and the Colts head to Gillette Stadium.Like everyone else, Pro Picks would be leaving its readers flat if it didn't mention the saga of footballs without enough air that penetrated the AFC championship game in the 2014 season when New England hosted Indianapolis. It would also be shirking our responsibility to ignore the fact that, like four years ago, this is pretty much a mismatch. The Patriots get back Tom Brady's favorite wideout, Julian Edelman, a few days after seemingly fixing their problems on both sides of the ball as they routed Miami. The Patriots have won the past five regular-season matchups and the past seven overall.New England, No. 7 in the AP Pro32, is a hefty — some might say inflated — 10陆-point favorite over No. 25 Indianapolis. We think it's no problem giving up that many.PATRIOTS, 33-19KNOCKOUT POOL: The Jaguars did the job rather easily against the Jets last weekend. This week, we'll get it out of the way early with the PATRIOTS.No. 27 (tie) New York Giants (plus 7) at No. 9 CarolinaThe Giants are showing no reason to think they can stay with the fresh and skilled Panthers.BEST BET: PANTHERS, 27-13No. 11 Green Bay (minus 1) at No. 24 DetroitThis line basically means who will win. Detroit will.UPSET SPECIAL: LIONS, 26-24No. 3 Jacksonville (plus 3) at No. 2 Kansas CityThe Jaguars have a defense to slow Chiefs Express, end KC's unbeaten season.JAGUARS, 23-21No. 1 Los Angeles Rams (minus 7) at No. 18 SeattleChiefs loss would leave one unbeaten team, which will remain so.RAMS, 27-16No. 5 Baltimore (minus 3) at No. 23 ClevelandDangerous game for Ravens after win at Pittsburgh.RAVENS, 30-24No. 20 Atlanta (plus 3) at No. 19 PittsburghTwo hugely disappointing, struggling outfits. Go with the healthier team.STEELERS Womens Eric Ebron Jersey , 23-21No. 15 Miami (plus 5 1-2) at No. 6 CincinnatiThe Dolphins were exposed in New England and face a surprisingly strong Bengals squad.BENGALS, 27-17No. 14 Minnesota (plus 3) at No. 12 PhiladelphiaA rematch of NFC title game, with both teams struggling in 2018. The Eagles are a different club at home.EAGLES, 23-17No. 21 Dallas (plus 3) at No. 26 HoustonA Texas showdown to be decided by the defenses. Houston's is better.TEXANS, 19-17No. 13 Washington (plus 7) at No. 4 New Orleans, Monday nightLooks like these Saints can beat you a bunch of ways, not just with Drew Brees.SAINTS, 31-20No. 10 Tennessee (minus 3 1-2) at No. 30 BuffaloThe Bills showed just how bogus that upset of Minnesota was last week by getting routed at Green Bay.TITANS, 20-9No. 16 Denver (plus 2 1-2) at No. 29 New York JetsWe don't believe in the Giants or the Jets.BRONCOS, 17-13No. 2 (tie) Oakland (plus 6) at No. 17 Los Angeles ChargersSomehow the Raiders keep every game close. This one, too.CHARGERS, 26-21No. 32 Arizona (plus 4) at No. 31 San FranciscoBoth teams showed more than expected last week. And lost.49ERS, 13-102018 RECORD:Last Week: Against spread (5-9-1). Straight up (12-3)Season Totals: Against spread (28-31-2). Straight up: (39-22-2)Best Bet: 2-2 against spread, 4-0 straight upUpset special: 2-2 against spread, 1-2-1 straight upTop players the Colts should consider claiming via waivers Waiver wire claims are just around the corner. Claims can be submitted at noon today. Teams will receive players based upon their record last year, meaning the Colts will be third in line behind the Browns and the Giants. This will all happen quickly but it is worth taking a look at which players are available at positions that could intrigue the Colts. Even after the Colts end up with none of these players, it’s reasonable to know who they could have claimed to help bolster the roster at certain positions.Running Back Charcandrick WestDenny Medley-USA TODAY SportsWest is 27 years old and has been used primarily in a rotational role in his NFL career — meaning he could have reasonable mileage left. He has only been asked to carry the load due to injury and offers a skill-set like the one Ballard and Reich intended for Nyheim Hines. There is certainly a chance the Hines will improve significantly in his first season but if Ballard thought he could get Hines to the practice squad, a veteran running back who is very familiar to him could step right in.Wide Receiver Corey ColemanKen Blaze-USA TODAY SportsThe obvious reason Coleman would not be on Chris Ballard’s list is that he has earned a reputation for having a bad attitude and being lazy. This isn’t the kind of personality that the Colts are looking for in their young locker room. However http://www.indianapoliscoltsteamonline.com/al-woods-jersey , Coleman hasn’t played with a legitimate starting quarterback since he entered the league. Perhaps he will settle down if he is surrounded by other players who have a positive influence and realizes that he has the opportunity to catch passes from a quarterback who can help him have a productive career.Simmie Cobbs Jr.Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY SportsOne popular wide receiver heading into the 2018 NFL Draft was Indiana University product Simmie Cobbs Jr. He is a big target at receiver but does not have blazing speed. He earned a reputation in Washington as an excellent and willing blocker and made some possession-style catches for short yardage when he had the opportunity. It is quite likely that the Colts are familiar with his skill-set if they are interested.Defensive Tackle Carl DavisPhoto by Wesley Hitt/Getty ImagesDavis is still only 26 years old and could fit nicely into one of the defensive tackle roles in Indianapolis. The defensive line is already very crowded but adding him and dropping Woods isn’t outside of the question. Davis would have a longer career projection with the chance for continued improvement in a 4-3 scheme change and Woods will almost certainly not be on the team in 2019. He was a third round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft out of Iowa.Defensive End Charles TapperKirby Lee-USA TODAY SportsCharles Tapper is still a young NFL prospect who has flashed ability for the Dallas Cowboys. It is quite certain that Matt Eberflus would be familiar with his skills and potential. At only 25 years old, he could be worth grabbing. He was a fourth round pick by the Cowboys during Eberflus’ tenure out of Oklahoma.Steven MeansPhoto by Mitchell Leff/Getty ImagesAt 27 years old, Steven Means has bounced around the NFL after he was originally drafted in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. During his travels, he has developed into a team leader that is respected in the locker room and as a player-coach of sort for pass rushers. He has been productive as a rotational option and should be familiar to Frank Reich from his time in Philadelphia.Linebacker Kevin MinterDavid Kohl-USA TODAY SportsKevin Minter was a surprise cut by the New York Jets. A lot of their fans thought he was destined for the team in at least a rotational role or as a backup. Now, at only age 27, he is available for teams who might be interested in his services. There is a ton of youth in Indianapolis and a lot of inexperience at inside linebacker so, while he wouldn’t be used in nickel packages, he could certainly provide something the Colts currently don’t have at the position.Marquis FlowersJim Dedmon-USA TODAY SportsIf you’re looking for young potential at linebacker, raiding the Patriots trash isn’t a bad place to start. Flowers is a rangy linebacker who once clocked a 4.51 40-yard dash. He has the length to be disruptive if he is asked to rush the quarterback and the r
