Do you know anyone who believes that music education is ineffective? The answer is no, per a recent study. In reality, some musical genres may help kids retain information and understand it better. Students were prompted to take an online test while listening to several genres of music by Yale University researchers. The findings revealed that students who preferred listening to energetic music performed better on the test than those who preferred listening to quiet music. The study also discovered that students remembered knowledge from the test better while they were listening to popular music. Click here
